Finnish language and integration training
For whom? The training is open to adult immigrants living in Finland who can read and write in the Latin alphabet and have a valid integration plan with their local TE office (unemployment services). You need to discuss with your TE office before applying for the training!
The purpose of the training: The purpose of the training is to reach level B1.1 (Common European Framework of Reference CEFR) in Finnish language, strengthen social inclusion and help finding employment or further education opportunities after the training.
Content of the training: Intensive study of the Finnish language, skills for working life, social skills, on-the-job learning and other studies that support integration. The course also includes study guidance support throughout the training.
We have groups for different levels (Common European Framework of Reference CEFR 0-B.1):
- beginner’s 0-A2.1
- intermediate A2.1-A2.2
- upper intermediate A2.2-B.1
The training is full-time from Monday to Friday 25 hours/week; regular attendance is required.
Costs: The training is free for students in the integration period. For others the cost is 220€/ month. Free lunch is also provided for students with an integration plan.
The course doesn’t qualify for a student visa or offer accommodation on our campus
